Full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position in the English as a Second Language program in the College of Education.

| Responsibilities |
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Teach 12 hours each semester in Spring and Fall -Advise students -Implement unit, program, and university assessments |
| Minimum Qualifications |
Experience in both P-12 and higher education teaching. A terminal degree in education is preferred but will consider applicants who are in the process of doctoral studies. The ability to work as a team and across departments and the university are essential. Candidates should have a knowledge of language acquisition theory, linguistics, assessment and instructional methodology when working with English Language Learners.

| Preferred Qualifications |
Experience working in urban and multicultural settings is preferred as is knowledge and work with TESOL standards and accreditation.
