CRITERIA
Work must be the author’s research on any aspect of education that incorporates a multicultural perspective. Early Faculty participants should be no more than five years out from PhD completion. Graduate Student participants should be enrolled in a graduate program at the time of submission. In the case of co-authored work, all of the co-authors should meet the eligibility of each of the two competition categories. All submitted manuscripts will undergo blind review and may be considered for publication at a later date. 


SUBMISSION
Competition is open from December 15, 2015 to January 15, 2016 and all manuscripts must be submitted to Dr. Misty Kirby via email (Misty.Kirby@canberra.edu.au). Please contact Dr. Misty Kirby for more information or inquiries.

Multicultural Education Review (MER) is a peer-reviewed journal for research about diversity and equity in education. MER welcomes original contributions that explore various aspects of policy and practice in multicultural education around the world.

The editors of MER are to be warmly congratulated for producing a fine international journal that regularly features the work of leading scholars in the field multicultural education. I have published in the journal three times, myself. Because I always find the journal's articles thoughtful and up to date, I recommend it anyone who is interested in multiculturalism, how schools might serve diverse populations better, and how schooling itself might support diverse democracies in an era of increased global human migrations.
