About ATCF
ATCF raises awareness about conditions of social and economic injustice along the Texas/Mexico
border particularly as they affect women and communities of color, and supports community-driven
alternatives through transnational solidarity and fair trade. We believe that our environment, our
communities and human dignity are sacred and must be respected in the movement for social justice.
Internship Description
The intern will work with the ATCF Executive Director to:
Roles and Responsibilities
● Assist in locating new fundraising opportunities
● Prepare and distribute promotional materials
● Coordinating donor appreciation and thank you gifts
● Maintain and update ATCF supporter/donor database
● Collaborate with Delegation & Event Coordinator to support ATCF participation in and hosting
of community events
● Provide general office administrative and programmatic support
● Assist in grant-writing
Requirements
● Commitment to the mission and values of ATCF
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Computer literate: office, database, email
● Ability to work independently
● Available to work 10-15 hours a week
● 8-month commitment
● Prior attendance of one ATCF delegation preferred
● Spanish language experience preferred
Compensation
● Valuable experience working with a local grassroots organization
● Education on labor solidarity, fair trade, gender empowerment

● $150/month
