"Feria Educativa – College and Career Fair", hosted by LEAD/CSUSB, on Saturday, October 17, 2015.

Dear LEAD Affiliates & Chapters (more than 1500 across 39 countries),

We are pleased to invite you to be an exhibitor / college recruiter at our 3rd biennial "Feria Educativa – College and Career Fair", hosted by LEAD/CSUSB, on Saturday, October 17, 2015.  The all-day event will be held at Cal State San Bernardino in the Santos Manuel Student Union Events Center and the Lower Commons beginning at 9 a.m.

The Feria Educativa College & Career Fair is a community-engagement activity where we inform and inspire, including...
  1. Enthuse a college-going and career-readiness culture for all students to be prepared for a full range of post-secondary options;
  2. Engage parents and families, with special efforts to reach Latinos, as a critical component in believing that their children are "college material" and offer opportunities to understand their role in the college process, as well as other post-secondary career opportunities;
  3. Distribute/exhibit/present educational and career information and post-secondary opportunities, and other materials pertinent to community well-being (e.g. health, immigration, & civic engagement), and be available to support families; and
  4. Build collective commitment and a partnership model that includes active involvement from all sectors of the regional community.
Our desire is that representatives and/or college recruiters from your institutions/organizations please participate in our College and Career Fair to assist us in informing and inspiring students from Southern California's Inland Empire. Many of our local and regional students and families will be attending our Feria Educativa to "shop" for a full range of post-secondary educational and career options, many of whom are interested in learning more about your particular college, university, and programs.

We expect thousands of attendees and this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with potential students and other national, international, state, regional, and community partners.  As a member of our LEAD network for so many years (particularly not-for-profit educational and cultural institutions, community and student groups, governmental agencies and other non-profits) we will waive for you the regular cost (value of $80.00) to have an exhibitor/recruitment table in our Educational Expo area in the Student Union Lobby (6 ft. table and two chairs).  Table assignments are processed based on when registration date/time stamped, so please act quickly.

In lieu of payment you may donate items toward our raffle drawing (like campus give-aways or collegiate clothing, or commercial/educational products).

Our Exhibitors/Vendors webpage is here:     http://lead.csusb.edu/EducationFair-Exhibitors.htm
It contains all the tools you need to plan your involvement. You will find directions, parking, resources, payment, exhibitor check-in and more.

Payment not needed to register and reserve your spot.
