Zora Neale Hurston Award| Deadline isAugust 1st.
The AFA will award 3 grants of $500 each for travel to the 2014 Annual Meeting of the American Anthropological Association (AAA) in Washington, D.C. These awards honor the pioneering work of African-American anthropologist Zora Neale Hurston. Eligibility is restricted to students and recent PhDs from underrepresented groups, working in feminist anthropology.
