Students Working on Doctoral Dissertation.

Citizenship
Open only to U.S. citizens.

Eligibility Requirements
Open to scholars who are planning careers in college or university teaching. Must have completed all the requirements for the PhD, except for the dissertation, before beginning tenure.

Stipend
Stipend of $25,000 for one year plus office space, library privileges, and a $2,500 research assistance fund.

Deadline
2/1/2014

Program Description
Year-long fellowship for graduate scholars in underrepresented ethnicities (Latinos and Latinas) to complete the dissertation at Dartmouth College's libraries, computing facilities, and faculty. Fellow also participates in classroom activities with scholars who are involved in undergraduate teachings.
