 Assistant/Associate Professor (of Counseling in the CLES Department)

The Wichita State University, College of Education is seeking
qualified applicants for a tenure-eligible Assistant or Associate
Professor of Counseling in the Department of Counseling, Educational
Leadership, Educational and School Psychology. The Department offers
Masters degree programs in Building Leadership (Principal licensure),
Counseling, and Educational Psychology, an EdS in School Psychology,
and an EdD in Educational Leadership as well as licensure (E.g.
Superintendent) and certification (e.g. Play Therapy, Engineering
Education) programs.

While primary academic responsibilities will be in the candidate's
area of expertise, the candidate will contribute to the
cross-disciplinary needs of the Department, including but not limited
to teaching core courses, serving on doctoral and thesis committees,
service to departmental, college, university, and professional
constituencies, program development, and delivery of off-campus and
distance education courses. Position start date is August 2014.

Salary is competitive and will reflect applicant qualifications.

Those seeking the Associate Professor title will be evaluated for
tenure eligibility based on background and experience.
