AAHHE Graduate Fellow Applications

On behalf of the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) Graduate Students Fellowship Program (GSFP), we would like to thank you for your continued support of AAHHE, as a national organization, and of the GSFP, which annually supports talented and rising Latinx doctoral scholars. AAHHE, as an organization, is committed to supporting Chicanx and Latinx graduate students in furthering their research and preparing them to pursue a career in higher education as faculty, administrators, and policy makers. Applications are now live for the GSFP and are due on Friday, September 23rd, 2016.

Here is the link to the application: http://www.aahhe.org/Programs/GradStudent.aspx.
This year, the conference will be held at the Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California. To summarize, the graduate fellowship provides a great space to advance and challenge graduate student scholarship and thinking among peers and faculty from across the country. It also has a strong emphasis in fe/mentorship as it connects graduate students to Chicanx/Latinx faculty across the nation. The fellowship covers conference registration, transportation, and lodging.
Please forward this email to doctoral students who may be interested in applying. Please let us know if you have any questions. Below is a link to the AAHHE website for more information about the organization: http://www.aahhe.org/

Thank you,
Rudy Medina & Aurora Kamimura
