ETS Education Research Update, August 2015

ETS Education Research Update
August 2015
Dear Colleague:
In this issue of ETS Education Research Update, we are pleased to feature R&D Connections, No. 24 (PDF), which examines assistive technologies for computer-based assessments.
ETS Research Scientist Mark Hakkinen explores the challenges and opportunities that innovative computer technology provides for test takers with and without disabilities.
Research related to accessibility standards and guidelines is critical to creating computer-based assessments that serve the needs of all test takers. This is fundamental to ETS's mission to help advance quality and equity in education by providing fair and valid assessments, research, and services for all people worldwide.
We hope that you find this edition of ETS Education Research Update informative and useful. Please share it with your colleagues and invite them to join our mailing list.
Sincerely,
Educational Testing Service
