Colorado State University is actively searching for our Director and Professor in the School of Education. We seek an engaged, innovative, visionary leader willing to creatively build research and educational programs of excellence that will take our community of scholars and practitioners to the next level of national and international recognition. The School of Education currently offers PhD, MEd, and MS degrees. Required qualifications: an earned doctorate in Education or related area; eligibility for appointment at the rank of tenured Professor; strong, visible research program; ability to develop and communicate a strategic, focused vision; record of effective leadership; understanding of the PK-20 educational landscape; and ability to foster collaborative relationships. Preferred qualifications: experience with budgeting and personnel management; leadership of tenure processes; demonstrated commitment to diversity and social justice; leadership in professional organizations; experience with curriculum development; effective team-building and management skills; and experience with accreditation processes.
