IJME is an open-access journal that engages a rigorous double-blind
peer-review process by a large pool of volunteer scholars around the world.
The 3-year average of the acceptance rate (as of 2012) is 19%. The journal
is included in SCImage Journal and National Rank (SJR) along with many
reputable databases and university websites around the world. With the
mission of disseminating the high-quality scholarly content of multicultural
education to the global community, IJME has reached readers like yourself
from over 130 countries and has been accessed by over 2,000 unique users
each month.
Your submission will ensure that the scholars, students, and practitioners
of the world hear about your great work on multicultural education. This is
a good time to submit your great work as we are trying to build a large pool
of submissions and to expedite the editorial process.
The April and August issues publish submissions addressing any topic
pertaining to multicultural education. As we are expanding our scope to
include leadership, we encourage your submissions on this topic as well.
There is no deadline for submitting your work to be considered for the
open-theme issues.
Special issues are usually published in December. For the December 2014
special issue, please check the call for submission at
