MexAustin Scholarship Application Now Open!


MexAustin Scholarship application is now LIVE!
Deadline April 30th 2016
Dear Students, Thank you for filling out the Student Interest form regarding the MexAustin Scholarship! The time has come — the application is now open! The application can be accessed at www.mexaustin.com and you can start it at any time. But keep in mind you cannot finish the application until you have finished your financial aid (FAFSA or TASFA). Here’s what you need to know: Get your taxes completed-Both your taxes and your parents’ taxes (if you’re under 24, unmarried with no children) must be completed before your FAFSA or TASFA can be submitted to your college(s). Free help is available to families who qualify at www.communitytaxcenters.org. Get your FAFSA or TASFA completed - Your FAFSA (or TASFA for non U.S. citizens) is the most important piece of your financial aid for college. And you must complete it before you can submit your MexAustin scholarship application! Free help is available to families who qualify at 512-610-4012, fafsa@foundcom.org or our Cash for College page. Get help with the MexAustin Scholarship application Students who would like in-person help with the MexAustin application can make an appointment with a Scholarship Mentor at one of our Community Financial Centers in North or South Austin. Schedule online or call 512-610-4012 to make an appointment.
