Job Description:
The Department of History in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts invites applications for a tenure-track professorship specializing in Latin American History (open region and time period). The Department is particularly interested in those whose research would diversify the Department's strengths in Brazilian, Caribbean, and Andean history. Start date is 1 September 2015. We are seeking talented applicants qualified for an assistant professor position.  Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration. 
Requirements:
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in hand by 1 September 2015 and promise of excellence in teaching and scholarship.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
