DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND POLICY
ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN PREK-16/20 EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy (ELP) at the
University at Buffalo (UB) is inviting applications for an Assistant
or Associate professor position in preK-16/20 educational leadership.
Candidates for the position should have a demonstrated level of
competence and sufficient experience to conduct fundable research in
preK-16/20 educational leadership and/or policy and be able to teach
and advise Masters, Certification and doctoral students (both PhD and
EdD).
Candidates should provide evidence of scholarly expertise and teaching
effectiveness in areas of relevance to a variety of preK-16/20
practitioners and policy makers. Expertise in one or more of the
following areas is preferred: college preparation, readiness, access,
transition and adjustment (especially with regard to partnerships
between high schools and colleges); pre and post-secondary/tertiary
remediation; assessment, evaluation and accountability; community
college, workforce development; and/or serving the needs of students
of color, low income students and first-generation college students.
