NCLR Monthly Latino Employment Report

Underemployment: The Real Jobs Crisis
Dear Luis:

We are happy to share with you the Monthly Latino Employment Report for December 2012, which contains the latest Latino employment statistics and analysis by the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) of underemployment among Hispanic and Black workers, which as of October 2012 stands at 19% and 23%, respectively. Underemployment rates paint a more accurate picture of the state of our labor market and underscore the need for policies to help put people back to work full time.

Check out the Monthly Latino Employment Report for December to learn about what today’s numbers and underemployment mean for Latinos and Blacks.
