Diversity & Inclusion events in Austin TX in early April 2014



Please plan to attend the 8th Annual Louis Gregory Symposium on Race UnityonThursday, April 3, 2014 at Huston-Tillotson University. This event is jointly sponsored by Huston-Tillotson and the Austin Baha'i community and this year's theme is "My Vision for Race Unity." The event is free and open to the public. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

And the following day, Dr. Kazique Prince will lead a highly interactive, practical workshop on "Unconscious Bias: Discovering Racism of the Well-Intentioned" on Friday, April 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Vuka on Monroe Street.

Following the workshop is a Happy Hour at 5:00 pm at El Chile on South 1st.

Both events are being co-sponsored by the Greater Austin Forum for Diversity and Inclusion and Austin Multicultural Friends Redux. More details are in the enclosed flyer.
