Welcomes Back La Santa Cecilia! 
Grammy Award winning La Santa Cecilia makes their much anticipated return to La Cosecha this November. Named after the patron saint of music, La Santa Cecilia is composed of accordionist and requinto player Jose "Pepe" Carlos, bassist Alex Bendaña, percussionist Miguel "Oso" Ramirez, and vocalist "La Marisoul." [RK1] The band exemplifies the modern-day creative hybrid of Latin culture, rock and world music. 
 
Join us to for an evening of dance and celebration as we help to ensure a bilingual future for all of our students! Summer Camp for Teachers of Spanish

The Instituto Cervantes Albuquerque, UNM Department of Spanish and Portuguese, UNM Language Learning Center and the Education Office-Embassy of Spain, present Summer Camp for Teachers of Spanish. The camp is designed to help develop teaching skills and introduce the latest classroom techniques to middle and high school teachers of Spanish. No previous experience or specific training in teaching foreign languages is required. Classes run June 20 - 24, 2016at the University of New Mexico Language Learning Center. Click here for more information and to register.
