Annual Academic Conference

Call for Conference Papers and PresentationsDeadline: August 31, 2013
This is a call for authors to present their papers at theAdministrative Issues Journal Academic Conference. The conference will be held on Thursday, November 7th, and Friday, November 8th, at the NCED Conference Center in Norman. 

The conference accepts papers and presentations related, but not limited to, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education Administration, Nursing Administration, and Public Administration (see website for full list). The articles can relate directly to issues in education, practice, and research. The Administrative Issues Journal accepts quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodology research, as well as literature reviews and theoretical frameworks. 
 
Submissions for the AIJ Academic Conference shall consist of an abridged paper of no more than 5 pages in length (references and tables not included). The paper should be accompanied by an abstract and a biography of all the authors involved. The papers are to be double spaced and should follow APA 6th edition guidelines. Papers must besubmitted through the Conference Submission Form by August 31, 2013.  Once submitted, they will be double-blind reviewed to determine if they are suitable for the conference. Authors will be notified of the decision regarding their paper as each is reviewed.

If you are accepted to present at the conference, would like to attend without presenting, or have previously been accepted for publication in the AIJ, please complete the Conference Registration Form. Registration for the conference is $275 before September 15, or $325 after. The Graduate student registration fee is $175. Registrations are not accepted after September 30. Registration includes all conference proceedings on a flash drive, a small souvenir, and refreshments throughout the conference.
If you are unable to attend the conference in person, you may now present your paper virtually. Your paper will be published in our conference proceedings, and you will still have the opportunity to answer questions from other conference attendees while you present.

If you are notified that your paper has been accepted for the conference or you are simply going to attend without presenting, you will then be required to register for the conference. Payment for the conference fees can be made via PayPal or by check or money order. Purchase orders are not accepted. Payments must be made and received before September 30, 2013.
