Grants to Expand Student Exchange & Training in Peru and the U.S.
The U.S.-Peru Innovation Competition, supported by CAF: Development Bank of Latin America and the U.S. Department of State, seeks to promote the internationalization of Peruvian and U.S. colleges and universities through joint collaboration and initiatives that increase study abroad and training opportunities for diverse student populations.
Eligibility: All higher education institutions in Peru, including vocational and technical colleges, and higher education institutions in the U.S. are eligible to apply.
Fields: Institutions must propose a study abroad program in the following areas:
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
- Environmental Sciences
- Climate Change
- Water
Other Requirements: Proposed program activities must increase access to study abroad and training opportunities for students from underserved populations.
Awards Available: Twelve (12) Innovation Fund grants of up to USD $25,000 will be awarded to selected proposals.
Deadline: August 31, 2017

Participants will learn about how to navigate through the application process, receive tips on how to best present your study abroad project idea and develop your proposal, and hear from representatives of public and private universities in Peru on how to collaborate on a joint program.
