The Newark-Montclair Urban Teaching Program is hiring a full time clinical position in Montclair State's Newark teacher residency program. I teach in this program and really believe that it is an excellent model for teacher development. We are looking for early childhood / elementary teacher educator with experience with inclusive Ed and a social justice perspective.

Clinical faculty position within a federally funded graduate level teacher preparation program, the Newark Montclair Urban Teacher Residency Program (NMUTR), with a specific focus on urban education and schools. The position involves supporting the instruction and supervision of NMUTR residents (pre-service students) across their field experiences, assisting with recruitment and selection of residents, managing instructional rounds, and working collaboratively with co-Pls to ensure the integration of residency components in the renewal of existing pre-service teacher preparation programs and the coherence of curriculum, assessment, and clinical experiences. This is
a 12-month, non-tenure track, long-term renewable position.

Qualifications & Requirements
Earned graduate degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field (doctorate a plus). Professional experience with clinical pre-service teacher supervision across early childhood grade levels is required. Experience teaching pre-service teacher coursework involving effective pedagogical strategies to create engaging, relevant, and skills-based student learning is required. Demonstrated ability to coordinate clinical programs, develop school-university partnerships, and collaborate with NMUTR and MSU faculty.
