Greetings from your Washington-based central 100KStrongAmericas team!
Our
first 100KStrongAmericas workshop in San Diego last year was an
enormous success, bringing together an enormous number of our colleagues
and delivering new models, new ideas, and new relationships to make the
work of promoting study abroad in the Americas both smarter and more
attractive.
This
year, we are doing it again but this time, in Boston before the opening
of the NAFSA Annual Conference. For this year’s workshop, we will be
celebrating the first inaugural year of 100,000 Strong in the Americas
and looking back on both the successes & challenges of study abroad
through the lenses of winning HEI teams from the past six competitions
of 100K. We will also be announcing exciting new funding opportunities
and upcoming grant competitions that you won’t want to miss!
We hope that you join us on our 2nd 100,000 Strong in the Americas Capacity Building Workshop, entitled “Learning Together in the Americas”, on Sunday, May 24th, 2015 at Northeastern University. The day’s workshop will be followed by a special matchmaking reception.
Please
find the attached flyer for our Boston workshop including the link to
register, and feel free to distribute this to those who would be
interested in attending. In case you are not able to access the link in
the flyer, you may visit: http://bit.ly/ 100KBostonWorkshop. The registration fee is $135, which includes lunch and the evening networking reception.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any additional questions or encounter any problems with registration.
We hope to see you in Boston!
