The University of Nevada, Reno Latino Student Advisory Board and Latino Research Center are hosting the state's inaugural Nevada Latino Leadership Conference (NLLC) from April 17 - April 18, 2015 at the University of Nevada, Reno. The NLLC is a leadership, civic empowerment, and educational access conference for Latino and Latino-interested high school and college students throughout the state of Nevada. Workshops, panels, forums, and keynotes at the conference will empower Nevada's Latino student population and unify students throughout the state to better the conditions of the Latino community. Issues of particular interest to the conference are immigration, educational access, civic participation, leadership development, and more.
