Two civic leaders: Rosie Castro, retired Dean of Students from Palo Alto College in San Antonio, and special guest Congressman Joaquin Castro will reflect on the condition of Latino college access and success over the past thirty years. Mother and son will share their respective experiences with community based organizations, colleges, universities, and policy leaders and discuss responding to the continuing challenges for Latino students to thrive in American higher education, the workforce and society.
