Donation Drive for Immigrant Children and Refugees in the border from
August 15 - August 17

The Issue:
The recent flood of unaccompanied minor children to our Texas border
has become an overwhelming humanitarian crisis. People from throughout
the state are working tirelessly to care for these children.

Regardless of the politics of the situation, children as young as a
year old are at our doorstep and they need our help. The Laredo
Humanitarian Relief Team and a multiple of other volunteer groups have
joined together in an effort to give organized humanitarian aid in the
overwhelmed Laredo area.

The Mission:
The mission for the Humanitarian Relief Team of Austin is to provide
support to the Laredo Humanitarian Relief Team with supplies that they
need to provide for the influx of immigrants and refugees at the
border. We need water, toiletry items, children's sandals, food snacks
etc
