The University of Texas at Austin, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, seeks applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Bilingual/Bicultural Education to begin Fall 2013. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes, contributing to program development, conducting a well-articulated research program, obtaining external funding for research projects, advising students, and engaging in service. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in bilingual/bicultural education or a closely related field and the ability to teach university courses in Spanish and English. Preference is given to candidates with elementary education research or teaching experience and who have expertise in math, science, or social studies. Salary will be competitive based on education, experience, and the Universitys salary schedule.
