NCLR Monthly Latino Employment Report July 2013

Hispanic Home Care Workers
Dear Luis:

The fastest-growing job in the U.S. has no minimum wage.  Home care workers, the people who provide one-on-one care to help elderly people and those with disabilities lead fuller lives, are excluded from the minimum wage and overtime law that protects most workers.  This month, we take a closer look at Latino home care workers in the National Council of La Raza's (NCLR) Monthly Latino Employment Report.

I invite you to download the NCLR Monthly Latino Employment Report to learn more about overdue regulatory reforms that would improve wages and quality of care in this vital industry.

Sincerely,

Catherine Singley
