“Immigrant Student Success” online teacher workshop on July 11 and 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EDT

Free, online teacher workshop, “Immigrant Student Success: Models and Tools for K-12 and Adult Educators” on July 11 and 12, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EDT. The online workshop will use interactive webinars, group activities and live exercises with nine experts to help educators encourage the progress of their immigrant and refugee students. 
 
Topics include the role of the teacher as ally for immigrant and refugee students, combatting bias and bullying, integrating immigration into the curriculum, the latest immigration data and much more. This is the sixth annual online workshop for teachers hosted by The Immigrant Learning Center’s Public Education Instituteand Teach Immigration.
